Hawkeye has always teased Frank about how incompetent he is as a doctor, but now one of Hawkeye patients is failing. After for once being on the receiving end of insults (from Frank), Hawkeye becomes obsessed with saving his patient to protect his ego. In the end, Hawkeye is forced to admit to himself (temporarily) that he can't win them all. But he does find the problem, which was so well hidden that Frank says "anyone could have missed that."
